It was 2026, and I stepped once again into the dreamlike halls of The Reverie, the legendary hotel of Penacony. Two years after my first visit, the place still felt as surreal as ever—abandoned corridors, wandering memory wraiths, and the lingering promise that any dream could come true here. But this time I wasn't here for relaxation. I was on a mission: to collect every single one of the 33 treasures hidden in this twisted version of the hotel, the Reverie (Dreamscape).

I remember my first glimpse of the lobby. Dusty chandeliers, a silent concierge desk, and an odd sense of being watched. The first chest was laughably easy—right behind the Space Anchor on the first floor. Chest #1 – done. But I knew things would get tricky fast.

I sprinted through the lobby, took two sharp lefts, and found another chest by a billboard. A Warp Trotter was skittering around the hallway like a scared piglet; I chased it down, and its defeat left me with a smug satisfaction—and a clear path to a staircase. Down I went, and there against the wall was the third chest. The first floor was cleared, and I was only getting started.

Riding the elevator to the Banquet Hall on the second floor, I stepped out and immediately spotted a chest gleaming in front of me. Greedily, I snatched it and pressed on. The VIP lounge required some tricky navigation, and that’s where I met a Lordly Trashcan, pompous as ever. I remember solving its little riddle—“It equals 77… It equals 2…”—to avoid a fight, because honestly, I was too lazy to smash a sentient bin. Then came the real puzzle: some chests needed the help of Hanu’s tiny form. I had to shrink down, sneak past towering furniture, and climb a shelf to reach a chest in a VIP lounge. Another one hid behind boxes that only little Hanu could push aside. By the time I finished the second floor, I had seven chests and a new appreciation for shapeshifting mechanics.

The third floor… ah, that’s where my memory nearly failed me. It’s a maze of dream spaces and Bubble Charges. I’ve made a small table to keep track of how many treasures hid in each layer, because honestly, without it I’d still be wandering around.

Back to my adventure. On the left side of Floor 3, I grabbed chests behind a Space Anchor, near potted plants, and on balconies that only opened after solving a Dream Jigsaw. Teleporting here and there, I felt like a ghost drifting through a forgotten luxury hotel. Fighting another Warp Trotter and that second Lordly Trashcan near the VIP elevator almost made me miss the chest at the end of the corridor. The Platinum Guest Room became my hub; from there, I pushed through blue doors, crossed Bubble Bridges that appeared only when I charged the right bubbles, and unlocked challenges that felt like the game was testing my patience.

One dreamspace was particularly cruel. I had to juggle Bubble Charges, unlock bridge after bridge, and dodge enemies just to reach a Precious Chest sitting tantalizingly in the center. The path looped back on itself, and more than once I ran out of bubbles mid-jump and had to backtrack. 💢 But the moment I opened that chest, the jingle of Stellar Jade made it all worth it.

Then came the hidden dreamspace. I found it by entering a broken painting near the Dreamjolt Hostelry. Inside, the layout was a web of locked doors and Bubble Bridges labeled A through D. I must have run in circles for ten minutes, but the system eventually clicked: grab three bubbles, unlock bridge A, sneak through a door, grab a basic treasure, then recharge and open bridge B, C, D… The challenge at the end gave me the second-to-last chest in human form.

The final two chests required Hanu again. I transformed back into that tiny, grumpy mascot and broke a balloon to open a hidden path. Sneaking past patrolling enemies, I claimed the penultimate reward. The very last chest was locked behind a Dream Jigsaw puzzle right where I transformed. One click, and it was mine. All 33 treasures collected.

I stood in the silent hotel, my inventory heavy with jades and relics. The Reverie Dreamscape might be abandoned, but for a Trailblazer willing to retrace every step, it’s a goldmine. ✨ If you ever decide to hunt these chests yourself—bring patience, a love for bubble puzzles, and maybe a guide. As for me, I’ll be back when the next update drops. This dream hotel hasn’t seen the last of me.
